Crossroads Dingo Rescue

February 2, 2020 by Crossroads Dingo Rescue   No comments   Filed Under: Dingo Diary

We have lived with our new mum for over a year ,we were unsure and insecure cos we had been in the pound for quite some time and our time was running out.
because of our timidness and our fear of unfamiliar places , and our before house was not so nice ,our mum gave us time to adapt , she laughs at us cos we took a whole year to understand we are loved and feel safe , she would tell us stories of other dingoes who have taken up to 2 years and more to trust their new human parents .
she tells us people dont understand us and expect us to be obedient and calm, people dont understand we are unique ,we have to be respected and accepted for what we are , cos we are free kids, cos we are not dogs ,dogs have to have human mums , but we dont cos we are the wild children of Australia .
Mum says we need special people cos we are special needs kids , gentle people who will care for us and respect us without expectation of us acting like dogs .
we will take time to trust you and we will be unsure and aloof ,but when we feel safe and trust you we can be a good friend
If you have patience and understanding we could like you and be happy with you , are you that person?
