Crossroads Dingo Rescue

The photo does not show the extent of mayhem .
Attempting to bath lobo today , by far not his first bath .
He is a very large white dingo with fur a polar bear would envy ,
However we constantly fight his nose issue, which I believe is a combination of environment and fighting between mesh with Caesar and pilbara, all hating each other
It is imperative we treat his nose and he is just as adamant we do not .

I ran the bath , cool but not to warm , warm but not cold , hmm, I think I’m clever , I bent down to pick him up, not taking into consideration his size and strength , I realised very quickly he weighs more than me plus his reluctance to cooperate, and I myself end up in the bath, lobo is on a” get out of here quick” mind set “,stuupid huuman “notz havin a barf ”
Not touchinz my noze

Ok, I strip off and run the shower , “never say die ” is my motto
Yep easy I think , “not so” says lobo .
Big sigh, sweating like I might dehydrate

Next option give the bath a miss ,don’t even consider the shower .

“But my boy you cannot beat me ” beautiful teeth you have with no hesitation to show me ,I did not mistake the grin for a smile

Screw this get a bucket of water and tip it over him ,oh goody water flies every where and he is headed for the window, I grab his lead he pulls and every thing goes flying , he has a ticket to the next exit , har, not happening .

I calm him down whisper what a good boy he is, he swears at me as I put shampoo on him and start massaging , he busy shaking off every effort , dont care, another lot of water is poured over him, have to get the soup off
2 hours later a whole coat is on the floor between the bathroom and the kitchen
I’m using ever trick in the book to treat that bloody nose and no way is his way .
I did manage to get it cleaned and a small amount of ointment applied plus some new silver spray on one side of his nose .
He is disgusted with me .

My next thought is to remove him from his pen where he resides next to mulga and Caesar, lobo and mulga have a amicable acceptance of each other ,Ceasar hates him, but he is also facing off with Pilbara and so.much dislike between all

Big sigh . Ok grab Brahmani , she recides next to Jack and a reluctant but acceptable friendship they have, both have been here for close on 7 years ( sadly )
Unsure of the out come , we have put Brahmani in lobo pen , next to Ceasar and mulga ( Mulga is a easy going sort of guy but dislikes people

Ceasar is now screaming at Brahmani , God’s he is a force .
Pilbara is happy not to be looking at Lobo , Jack and Lobo are unsure if they will or will not coexist in close quarters ( we pray it works ) might give lobo’s nose a chance to heal if not fighting ,and also more protection from sun a fight is ensured when trying to put sun screen on his nose .
We await and hope just maybe peace may reign .

We have brushed Bo 3 times in 2 weeks and still he has this thick massive coat .
We have 4 sprinklers going all day attempting to cool these alpine dingoes so far removed from their natural environment .
Every day is high stress , every day is a full on day .
All good . Never say die .
