Crossroads Dingo Rescue

November 8, 2019 by Crossroads Dingo Rescue   No comments   Filed Under: Dingo Diary

I guess stupid is as stupid does , when two crazy older women attempt to relocate an Avery ( me being one )
Yesterday whilst trying to shift a rather heavy avery, and not very successfully, just way to heavy.
So in my wisdom figured we could transport on a small trolley, nup , not going to work couldn’t get it past the damn trees and debris, balancing it was impossible
ok never say die .
Decided to roll the thing, but wait … we have a dry stream a bit more than a meter deep ,
Oh goodie this will be fun ,
Not fun, the bloody thing went A over , with me trying hard to prevent it , in so doing want bum up with the cage in the now solidified empty stream , yep could not afford to land on already badly damaged shoulder and far worse to land on face ( having lost bone from on going bone infection )
Twisted and bruised I had landed on my knee , big sigh , try wrangling dingoes with one leg ,
Poor Warren came home from work ( can ill afford to not work ) there is a slight problem with a few of these dingoes , it’s mum or no one , had to hobble out to sort Nowra having a panic attack , she wraps her paws around my leg near on up ending me calmed her and we both hobbled back inside .
The pups are taking full advantage of this disability ( hopefully a temporary set back )

Oh I needed the avery for Edga Poe our crow , he arrived here a couple of months ago and desperately required a larger cage so he can get wing exercise and become more independent ( he and I have great crow conversations he being a prolific talker ( crow lingo )
old enough now to feed him self but carries on like a wee babe .
Clever kids crows .
However the skies await him, so we need to get him strong enough .
In the mean time my knee is strapped up and hopefully will be short term disadvantage .
