We have pindan inside again ,you remember Pindan ? Sold to a person in Derby , uneducated person who willingly surrendered him to the pound, he was 7 months old ,
He has been here over 2 years , an amazing boy full of zest, tenacity, head strong but so responsive to understanding and love , which we give him ,
Oh yes we did attempt to re home him , unfortunately it’s very hard trying to explain to people the nature and behaviour of our dingo , and no , their thoughts on ” if you love them enough they won’t jump that meter high fence , or ” oh we wanted to breed , we have permission to breed “.
sadly disappointing is our dingo when love is not the answer to his nomadic ways
His refusal to be contained ., a wild spirit expected to accept domesticity, so many forced into compliance, with drugs and electric collars
Pindan would not conform to the dog expectations forced upon him , erratic behaviour due to
Ignorance and arrogance of human expectations
Pindan didn’t even have a name , ” Fkn thing wouldn’t come to any name” , were the words of previous owner.
he has a name now and he responds to His name . Pindan
Just another throw away dingo
However he is back inside due to severe injury to His paw , one I should perhaps take responsibility for as it was a foregone conclusion , having agreed to take on further dingoes
Oh I’m sorry I didn’t get out there and blast the internet on how good we are, we are litterally forced to keep quiet on many issues .
To recount an issue approximately 2 years ago , we were asked to assist with two dingoes in a dire situation , they were going to be put down , well noted no one else offered to assist .
foolishly we put the dingoes on Crossroads seeking assistance , never sighting the dingoes not having any idea where they were , not being involved with many dingo groups we keep away from the politics , well at the very least we try .
From our attempt to assist in what we believed was an urgent situation , we then recieved no end of vitriol , death threats ,” give those dingoes back” they screamed down the phone, if you don’t return the dingoes we’re coming , I let my husband fend off the continued threats and abuse , trying to explain the truth of the issue ,
Couldn’t convince any one we not only didn’t have them , we didn’t sight them, had no idea where they were.
How easy for these dingo idiots to get on their high horse and threaten us , accusing us of stealing these dingoes .
Oh they ended up in care , one later was hit by a car , the other well who knew?
Did it help that the person who later apologised blaming every one else for the abuse , no it did not help
Fate has a way of finding a way , in December 2018 we were asked if we could assist with two dingoes
Oh I can tell you , I was more than reluctant , being informed on who they belonged to, believe me, I truly did not want to get involved
The time came when it became an emergency they needed to be placed some where , after all how long can shires hold them for ?
Again I was reluctant, calls were made all over Australia , 22 in total I believe was the number called , yep all these have to save the dingo ..
Not one put their hand up .
So here we are with the very dingoes we were acussed of stealing, oh of course the female is not the original she got hit by a car , but some dingo breeder didn’t hesitate to replace, regardless of knowing the reputation of the person who owned them
We kept quiet , funny how every one got on the band wagon insisting on knowing where they are what happened to them
But not prepared to save them from euthanasia
Now here I am , I’m telling where they are , they are here , and a warning goes with this information
Harrass annoy threaten or set foot on this property with your death threats and I’m waiting
However another was dropped off here as well , guessing all are familiar with that story, crazy though those who dropped him off are now intending to breed .
Does any one take responsibility for these throw away dingoes ?
Due to these dingoes and our perhaps stupidity in attempting to keep all safe , we ask for assistance
Assistance that is not forth coming , no we are not a big organisation, we don’t receive grants , we don’t sit at computers all day trolling the internet, we do the hard yards , we take on the mange infected brutalised animals , the ones on their last day in a pound
The ones dumped
No again we don’t have volunteers, we can I’ll afford the exorbitant cost of dingo insurance
We can not take the risk with uneducated people with dog mentality
Why do we need assistance and why are we not deserving of that assistance?
We are constantly receiving calls to take dingoes ,assist with a situation , give advice
We never refuse to assist , we do not charge those who come here for up to 4 hours and more
For them to then state they are paying to bring a dingo in from another state
But first want our advice , is there something wrong with that ? Or is it just me ?
20 here , can you imagine the vet cost , can you imagine the food cost , can you imagine the work involved
If not for the rare few who support us with donations of food and the limited loyal, these animals would be so much land fill
8 in the last month we have not been able to take , but then how many can one take ?
Pindans injury is a result of serious dingo bite , reciding in close proximaty to two dingoes who loath him and sadly whilst supposedly being a bonded pair they have so much dislike for each other they too must be separated, we can not separate, we can not put the 6 inside out side due to no pens
So perhaps I should put it to all those on this page, you tell me what we should do .
