The year 2025
I visited Fraser Island today
A place where the dingo lived and played
Just a sad and desolate island now with only the echo of a howl
I visited Fraser Island today
No paw prints in the sand now grey
No evidence of what once was, the heritage of Australia wide , the true and pure dingo gone.
Australia’s shame they all cry , yet all to fearful to stand their ground, while the last dingo made no sound as the bullet slammed into his brain all just stood around.
they starved him out , they stole his land but money made passed from hand to hand
I visited Fraser Island today .
A lonely desolate piece of land , stand still perhaps you hear the cries of many dingoes still passing by , the echoes of their howls you hear, `tis only the wind in the trees
I visited Fraser Island today .
