Handy information .

IF YOU HAVE LOST OR FOUND A PET, THESE ARE THE FIRST STEPS YOU NEED TO TAKE!

LOST OR FOUND A PET? ALWAYS CONTACT THE RANGER FIRST!

If your pet is missing, contact your local Vet clinic to notify them in case someone brings it in.

Go to the website of petaddress.com.au to make sure that your pets microchip contact details are up to date and then phone the registry the microchip is listed with and ask them to ‘flag’ the chip as missing.

Contact us to make up a post for you, with a photo, relevant information and contact details.

If you find a pet, have it scanned by a Ranger or Vet clinic as soon as possible, then contact us to make up a post for you with a photo, relevant information and contact details.

Please remember that if you find a pet you must notify a Ranger straight away. Do not take it upon yourself to withhold this information as it will only slow down the process of getting the pet home as soon as possible.

Once you have posted for either a lost or found pet please make sure you comment on the post so you can be tagged if any information comes to hand and also make sure you are checking both your PM inbox and your phone messages in case someone has tried to pass on information.

Finally, please show your gratitude to all the people that share the information about lost pets by keeping in contact with updates on the post and of course the good news when owner and pet are reunited!

Thank you

(Michelle)
