Poor django . i speak like he is an uncontrollable killing machine

January 22, 2018 by Crossroads Dingo Rescue   No comments   Filed Under: Dingo Diary, django, Jedda

Poor django . i speak like he is an uncontrollable killing machine . i need to apologise to django
He is a great kid .but he does have an excessive prey drive .
He was encouraged to pull down ponies and calves when he was in that other bad place
The place where he was stabbed and kicked and so abused
We have alot of horses and stock around us, and the horses galloping around set him off .

Considering what he has had to endue . he really is a good boy . we just need to get a better larger pen for him
He had the opportunity to do damage last night , but he came staight to mum

He even managed to not retalliate when jedda got him in a head lock .so im very proud of him
He actually panicked when he realised he was on the run . funny boy
So this is my apology to our django .
We love our rescue boy django .

In the mean time django got out

In the mean time django got out , have I not enough stress ?
The good thing he didn’t kill any thing , he raced down to the house was intercepted by feral Jedda
They didnt kill each other , and thank the powers he stood long enough for me to grab him
I now sit drinking coffee attempting to control my anger( re stolen papers ) and settle my anxiety with one escaped dingo .

Interesting day every dingo here is aware of Joey in the bedroom , hmm yum mum , no way I say . Pindan scored 2 litres of milk off the cupboard, gorged himself , spilt a lot on the carpet stole another banana, then quickly regurgitated, oh the fun .

Just a quick thank you to Warren’s employer for his donation for the dietary upkeep for the dingoes in our care. He is a dog lover from way back. Thanks Greg.

Just a few words of advice , it’s beautiful to see wild dingoes in the wild

Just a few words of advice , it’s beautiful to see wild dingoes in the wild , where they should be .
But it is absolute stupidity to disclose the location of these wild dingoes .
They are still regarded as vermin they have no protection , their dens are pilfered by the ignorant , and many would enjoy seeing the last dingo dead .
By all means post pictures and videos , there is nothing better than to see these animals in their natural enviroment , but the risk of disclosure on their location is as sure as a bullet to their head and just maybe we will not have the privilege of seeing wild dingoes in the near future

Well, thats the worming done for another month. 35 worm tablets, some took them with no problems, some had to be tempted, but they are all done.. Time to stock up on worm tablets again.
