Poor Bunjil, can’t decide if he’s a dingo or a Red Heeler in a dingo suit

Crossroads Dingo Rescue

Days are never uneventful here
A day you will hope will be smooth running is caught up in road humps, although most humps are amusing
Another day trip to the vet , Bunjil believing this is a ma and son bonding time sitting in the front as tbough he is watching a tennis match, his head swinging right and left .
He has blinkers going, hazzard lights on, takes me all my time to figure out how he found all these buttons while i try frantically to turn every thing off , Windows going up and down and me panicking.

We both went to the toilet prior to leaving , first road hump ,Bunjil decides half way down the road he needs to pee again , making it worse is I now decide I need to as well , (give us a break its an age thingy )
Worse still is when the urge to sneeze and he snorts , we look at each other with ” oops , in his case oopths
Oh well we agree accidents happen

We arrive at the vet , this time he isnt so keen ( noo way, .. his boy things are at risk ) the look on his face was a warning not to laugh

Wasnt happy when a dog sashayed in, and less happy when he came face to face with the resident cat ( we have decided he is not cat tolerant , its furry its small and its got attitude .)
We are welcomed in and he is now alert , we go into our own room , and he starts to relax , lays down by my side .
our friend and receptionist attempts to enter , well our Bunjil went from ( pretend ) sleep to full alert , up in front of me propped and said ” I dare ya I just dare ya ”
Oh ok .. receptionist removes head and calls out , “you want a coffee ” , like, get it yourself .
I needed a coffee i needed a loo too
I had to take him with me to the loo ( no privacy while he stands guard )

Ok so he is protective and possessive , in the two weeks he has been with me he is now the man ( he thinks )

Any way he has had his surgery , tail tightly tucked unhappy and seriously missing his boy things .
” well hell that’s gota be a load off ya hind quarters , ” i tell him , at about that time I figured I’d best not joke on the subject of the missing boy parts .
He aint happy , the look was enough to take a smile off any dial, dingoes have a knack of putting you in your place, dont laugh, do not laugh, they know when you laugh at them

We arrived home some 3 hours later , I helped him out of the car and of course he aint talking to no one .
So he is now microchipped vaccinated sterilized ( with attitude )

Not cat tolerant, dog selective , human selective, loyal, protective and no one would ever get in to your house uninvited , if he decided against it .
And he would love his own home if of course you can love an older gentle giant ( well almost ) but no cat , he likes to play with girl dogs ( well he plays with Bonnie, although a little boisterous a wee bit heavy ( cos she is an older girl ) when he plows into her .
He will assess you as is their way
