Crossroads Dingo Rescue
Please enjoy and listen carefully
Whilst running Mering and Maliki this morning.
I was engrossed with watching the two pups .
I heard ” come on boy . He’s a good boy , in-between many different bird calls .
I then think, ok some one has lost a pink and grey , I start by scanning the trees , no sight of a pink and grey, and all the time this little voice is talking and warbling .
I admit to being totally confused .
Dingo kids just as confused
I come back and explain to Warren , I’m hearing things or maybe over worked
So here we go one Maggie. Confidently chatting away while imitating different bird calls .
Now this is a privilege.
Wee sweet he / she is
I guess perhaps a pet . Brought up with birds and other
I for my part hope he survives if volunterily released
Or perhaps he is sadly missed .

Crossroads Dingo Rescue
Wally . We changed his name, but recieved a phone call informing us we had no right to change his name , in fact we have no right to change any names , and “no why would we support you “?
Personally I’m so sick of bloody abusive phone calls
Sick of the damn vilification constant and unrelenting .
I guess the fact you dumped this animal here, might give cause for support of us .
We had major problems getting the owner to sign off
“Why should I, he’s my dingo” was the response .
Well then I request you come pick him up , my reply .
A half hearted agreement was made .
No follow up assistance from owner or those who dumped him here, ( as promised) but with
“yeah we’ll make a donation”
No doubt based on my angst of their audacity .
Wally was dropped here Jan 2019
By no less than those who vilify us at ever opportunity .
Was he rehomable ? Is he rehomable ?
No he is not !
He is an extension of his past, previous abuse, very abused .
The problem with some dingo dog cross hybrids ( regardless of being sold as pure .he is high in dog .)
Abuse can break the dingo but enrage the dog .
What we have with this boy is a highly volatile animal
His aggression is absolute
No hesitancy in showing that aggression and in fact is unsafe .
Why have I not euthanised him ?
He is an extension of human error .
Was he born bad .?
Possible, we have rogue dogs ,
is it due to hybridisation? Possibly .
An animal court between two worlds
Would I rehome him ? Not a chance in hell .
I seldom regard any animal as dangerous, always i seek the reason for behaviour problems , have always stated the dingo does not have behavior problems ,
People have problems with dingo behaviour .
Wally’s behaviour is due to human error, human abuse, ignorance and barstardry .
Part dog part dingo .
Neither his dingo or his dog was nurtured .
Both now so far damaged .
We take a chance every time we interact .
Many times he has attempted to bale us up .
Yet still we persist .
We make excuses .
I have no doubt the day will come when we will have to make that call, in the mean time we give him the benefit of the doubt .
