Dingo Diary

All this power struggle over who sleeps where and bonnie being bullied by feral jedda .
In my wisdom i decide to sort the problem .
bonnie has her bed on the floor. jedda sleeps with me but then decides she want bonnies bed . so yesterday another lounge bites the dust and i keep 2 cushions . wash them and put fresh covers and a comfy blanket , there you go no need to fight over beds . nup didnt work this morning both jedda and bonnie head to tail on the floor .
So i figure jedda wouldn’t let bonnie on a bed , to make sure of that she lays near both beds on the floor , happy to give up her comfort but not permitting bonnie to have comfort , dingo logic .

Over the last week i have picked up and relocated . 6 bobtails, but im not sure if its many or one.
Yesterday bindi had once again attempted to demolish her fence and jack was urging her on, so much excitment and frenzied behavior , im running around trying to find the source of all this . and there you go one bob tail with a death wish .i spent the next hour trying to wrangle this reptile away from bindi’s pen.
This bob tail was really hyped up , seldom do I see a angry bobby , he was spitting , too bad, have to get him away from pens
Buggar me today same one ( well i assume its the same one ) he’s back up under the verandah.strewth he is very angry, whats with this anger ?
Any way same one or not ,6 times i have moved him on from paddock to paddock , ok advice here , what is this critter looking for and why is he so cross and if he doesn’t keep away from dingoes he wont have to be angry with me moving him, he will be a dead bob tail .

When nowra arrived she had her koala and the koala had her baby .
miss nowra had wet both , i washed them and lost them today i found madam koala and scooby doo , gave them to nowra , she so funny grabbed her koala like a long lost friend now she is curled up asleep .
Our dingo has attatchments to the most mundane things .
Sad so many see our dingo as just an instinctive killing machine not realising how they grieve for a lost mate and bond to simple things thst give them comfort

Always something going on here . you cant even go to the toilet.
One of those days .
hell of a racket going on out side . and you realise you have to get out there but your body says .nup not finished .
By now stess is high panic sets in the noise is worse yipping howling snuffing have to get out there . stupid body
Eventually im free. race out side, omg thankful for security run ,
brahmani has chewed through her gate . oh yeah she racing up and down showing off to all who want to kill her . and yay still cant catch me she says,
I grab brahmani put her in her pen . hadnt realised she chewed the gate . and shes out again . oh for gods sake give me a break
Of course it then becomes obvious . well now what ?
Ok talk calm keep her calm . quietly urge her to come with me . we get inside and bloody 6 dingoes are frothing at the mouth , oops not a good idea .jedda in the bedroom trying to pull the door apart .
So we head for the end room . praying she doesnt decide to chew through the wall .
I race our find some mesh and spend an hour trying to wire up this damn gate , do you recon the wire will give me a break ? Not bloody likely , managed to fix hopefully keep her in .
I come inside to be greeted with , snarls and bloody jedda come out of the room like a freight train . “where is her i kill her now” frothing at the mouth , calm her take her out and now to deal with the other irate dingoes ,
Yep gota share all that dingo love

Dingo Diary

Ok busy long day , anyway miss Nowra, was just so damn good , normal huff here puff there , and she did pee and poo on me but that to is normal cos she don’t like hoomans
Nowra had her vaccination ( again) wormed again now micro chipped so she now is family .
Her teeth are indeed not good , but this could be due to lack of nutrition insufficient diet needs when born , vets agree she would have been roughly 4 weeks when she arrived, she has been here since mid September almost 6 weeks , only now are her second teeth about to come through .
If only 4 weeks on arrival that seriously throws out the whelping dates , it was believed she was 3 months, so she is very much a late born given there are people who, due to their research really assess the birth rates and times for that area .
Certainly all I knew now seems to be not as I knew .. ( does that make sense?)

Nowra settled really well remained calm untill I showed signs of irritation when discussing dingo issues dingo politics ect , ( yep all that crap that pisses me off ) then and only then did she really start to show anxiety ,
( so one neeeds to keep emotions under control when handling our dingo , they are very perceptive )

Bonnie was really anxious for some crazy reason she thinks I will leave her , ( not on your life nor mine bonnie would I ever leave you )
Im chatting to the vet explaining how jedda is starting to bully bonnie , jedda sleep on my bed bonnie has her mattress next to the bed , jedda gets off the bed glares at bonnie , whereby bonnie gets up head down and lays on the floor ,bonnie will not engage in altercation .
jedda now has a choice ,my bed or Bonnie’s bed , nasty wee bitch , a case of bonnie is not well, she has sore hips and now the dingo bitch decides, bonnie is the weak link, typical dingo behaviour ( not on my watch ) bonnie has been a mum and more to jedda , some respect please .
So a lot of Bonnie’s problems are depression anxiety and fear , gona stop right now .
Any way while talking about it , it became obvious the reasons for why, which will now be brought under control.
No bullies in my house .
Bonnie will have pain meds and will be reassessed In 4 weeks . Thankfully nothing serious ( that we could determine)
Nowra has a big girl collar, pretty mauve , really proud of my wild child today , but of course it helps when you have exceptional vets ,
thanks girls at Kenwick , thanks too for the privilege of time to pay .
