Need 2 sheets of prodek 4 meter sheets .

March 10, 2018 by Crossroads Dingo Rescue   No comments   Filed Under: Dingo Diary, Uncategorized

What is wrong with people ?
Need 2 sheets of prodek 4 meter sheets .
Hunting high and low . we find some today 9 sheets . be lovely but we can only afford two .
Sadly the seller refuses to abide and wants to sell it all .300 dollars. we dont have 300 dollars and as stated seller doesnt want to sell just 2 ( well i guess it may suit them to do so ) but not helping our problem of trying tp finish these darn pens ..gived us a break .
I truly do not think people are aware of how much we do here .
how bloody hard it is to sqeeze a dollar for animals we try to care for .
Saving their lives in one thing . maintaining and sustaining is another . constant vets
Food collars leads bedding
Paid near on 100 dollars yesterday for 4 beds just the Hessian covers .we need 18

Chris, at South Street Pet Supplies, has been a loyal supporter of Crossroads Dingo Rescue for a long time. So if you’re down near Fremantle, here in Western Australia, Chris can be found on South Street, O’Connor. Chris also has South Street Pet Supplies Facebook page.
Call in and see her if you’re close by.
Thanks again Chris.

A little excitment here yesterday .

February 27, 2018 by Crossroads Dingo Rescue   No comments   Filed Under: Dingo Diary, mirrhi, Nowra

A little excitment here yesterday .
Miss Nowra was out and about , climbing and tearing around the house , i left her to her demolishion , and went out to feed dingoes out side
I could hear the breaking of a cup and the lounge being pulled around and the yelling and hollering .
I realised something was not as it should be , and looked through the window.
Miss mirrhi was out ( how they get out of these crates amazes me )
Told myself take a deep breath do not panic ,
I opened the door saying as i walked in, ” hey girls are you having a good time playing nice ,
It was obvious nowra waa pretending to play nice , and mirrhi was getting cross
Its best not to panic in this situation ,any change from me was surely going to light a fuse .
Trying to get nowra off mirrhi was a bit of a challenge , miss nowra attempting to assert her young dominance
I managed to catch nowra as she raced through for another nip at mirrhi , with that distraction mirrhi was only to happy to take the opportunity to get out of harms way by retreating back into her crate .
All ended well .
Thankfully

Today i sat on the verandah with old girl

February 25, 2018 by Crossroads Dingo Rescue   No comments   Filed Under: Dingo Diary, oldgirl

Today i sat on the verandah with old girl
Today she is having more difficulty with her breathing .
Today i realise a decision must be made
I had to lift her off the verandah and back up
Her breathing is very eratic.
She is somewhat disoriented
We are happy we met her we are more than happy we rescued her from the pound
We are happy no one wanted her , she out used her usage. Older and with many medical problems
She was our gain .she is loved and has given trust and love in return .
I need now to give her dignity
We have done all in our power to make her life easy realising she had symptoms of abuse and neglect
Her health has always been an issue for her
Perhaps had we been more financial more we could have done , perhaps if we were more financial we still could do more , would i now put her through extreme testing extreme procedures to buy her perhaps more time .
How do you measure time ?
3 months 6 months .
Today i feel old girl has decided enough is enough
I still ponder and think she’s ok ,
In reality she is not

Just had a major flash storm go through

Just had a major flash storm go through
In a split second every thing is under water
Dingoes were very uneasy.
Warren in the bedroom settling the fera, l being jedda
Im inside out side calming them all down
Causes me a little concern as to how the wild kids will cope when our side .
Realizing they are wild born kids , but have been very protected .
Unfortunately stress can be extreme , in a state of panic they can do tremendous harm to them selves .
needless to say i will proceed very cautiously when introducing them to a change in their routine and new area

Haven’t done to bad . been laying slabs , darn things probably weigh as much as myself
One shoulder and not quite so young .
Well one says, not age nor pain should define
So 60 slabs got laid . with a whole new dictionary of swear words

Miss Nowra just enjoys telling Mirrhi You cant catch me so izz just sits here ..
