Just a matter of time before they manage to get on the bench
Already they climb on a chair to get on the table

Kids have officially been named, Apani is the girl, Daku and Balan the boys. They have just been to the vet for their vaccinations and microchip, Apani was a wimp, but the boys were SO tough, not!
They couldn’t wait to get back home to Mum.

Crossroads Dingo Rescue
Its all about the huggles , ( hugs and cuddles) can not miss the huggle time .
The 3 kids ( dingo miniatures) climb and yell and fight .
I sit on the blanket box and they try to jump up , one is so funny , walking backwards to get a running jump to smack head first into the box ( not funny )
I pick him up and he buries his head in my neck he and grunts and groans ( with pleasure I hope )
He then starts to nibble . another is pulling at my leg , I bend down and pick him up, this results in a full on’ bite ya face off’ fight beween the two, add our girl to the mix and it turns into a snarling growling fight over mum
One proceeds to attempt to open my mouth , the other when not attemping to rip his brothers head off is chewing on my arm
They are now too big to nurse them all but not one will back down, all or nothing is their idea
Im very gratefull Machalle has two, seriously lightened the pressure here , hopefully they are not giving her a hard time .
it would be hell here with them all, particularly since they started fighting and attempting to delete each other so small , now it gets a bit more serious
Survival of the fittest.
Guess its time to start naming them.
We bought collars for them , crazy considering they chew each collar off ( at $22 ea expensive toy for little dingoes )
Regardless they are very endearing, love cuddles, love to be loved, clever intelligent, determine, wilfull, destructive little machines , well designed for tough terrain.
Only a matter of time before they decide hug times are not accepted , become aloof and independant .
We think if we love as much as possible they will always love us back .
I’m told its nurture and not nature which predicts the behaviour of our wild kids .
sadly I have found it is nature, it is hard wired independant primative, thousands of years DNA survival skills .
there comes that time if not restricted, all wild life seek their hardwired freedom and loving us is not part of their requirements
Not as we understand emotion
they depend on us, we give shelter, comfort food .
do they bond with us ?
Of course they do but purely through need and not desire .
Given a choice freedom would dominate
Only freedom many can not have , we cant teach them the skills required as their parants would
Being wild does not make them capable of survival, wild lore is taught by their parents and that is not a qualification I would profess to have
But we all do what we can to ensure they are safe if not free .
But if a choice was given one does not need to ask what that choice would be .
